Happy Valentines Day!! Tell the Banks' that I got their box and thank you! First off, we had a funny thing coming to the library to email today! We were driving down the road and and the driver, Elder Rassmussen, was focusing on the cop behind him and didn't pay attention to the red light that he ran! So of course, we got pulled over and the officer was like "who are you guys?" and we said "well we are missionaries for our church". So then the cop was like "so if I give you a warning will that put me on God's good side?" So he let us off he was really nice but then when we got to the library Elder Rassmussen realized that he didn't have his wallet with him! That could've been really bad! It was so funny though, we were laughing all the way here! But that's my funny story!
Things have been going really well here. No one in the district is getting transferred so we are all staying! Tomorrow we are going to the mission office to get all the updated transfer information! Yes, Chris is an awesome member. We try to spend a lot of time with him because he needs it. He has been having a hard time since he had to quit smoking. So we take him out and he almost all the tiome takes us to get food afterwards! :) Chris is Italian and Catholic. At a wedding, a friend gave him the Book of Mormon and the next day missionaries knocked on his door and he just knew it was true and so he gave up pretty much everything, even his friends, so he could get baptised! It's actually pretty neat! Oh yes, it has been really warm the last few days in the 40's and high 30's. I think most of the snow is melted and it's really nice we don't have to bundle up as much! So we have been having more food; actually last night the relief society president came over and gave us a pretty big meal that will probably last a while!
Yes, the Mulhollands are a great family. They actually came to church on Sunday, all but the dad, he had to work. They came in a little late and we had to set up a whole new row for them in the back! It was great and they loved it and the girls are going to New Beginnings on Wednesday and then the mom is going to a relief society thing on Thursday night. So they are having a good time! The Mulhollands' son, Alan, is 25 and it's kinda a yours mine ours thing. The older ones are his, and then some are hers, and then the younger ones are theirs!
Princess and Alan have been going really good. They fed us the other night and they are super excited about church! Their friends in Colorado somehow got our phone number and called us and talked to us about them. Princess has been a member since she was 18 but fell away and decided to come back and bring her husband too! We did have a cool thing happen to us this week. We stopped by former investigators (Marsha and Mariah) that we haven't been able to talk to in a long time, since before Christmas. We stopped by and somehow met them outside and went in and talked to them and they both said that they were ready to be baptised now. We set dates with them and everything. It was pretty sweet! We were pretty excited! It was really great! We have been having lots of other people call us or we get referrals for lots of people, so we have been pretty busy! Last week we got 8 lmp's and then 20 total other lessons and that's what everyone is trying to reach! So we were able to do it! Yippee!
That's about all that happened to us this week besides being busy with lots of lessons and stuff, it was great! I think we are the number 2 highest lessons in the zone, besides the zone leaders! We are doing good! Well I hope everyone is having a great time and a great week! A funny story I remembered...Kayla Mulholland, the 9 year, in primary class memorized the names of the first presidency and the 12 apostles! And then when the young women's president was with us she was telling us stuff about the strength of youth and Kayla leans over to her dad and was like "she must have read the pamplet, she is saying things that are in there!" It was pretty funny! I hope you all have a good week! Love ya and hope all goes well!
Love, Elder Price
