Dear Family,
This week there was some pretty bad storms but nothing too bad. The roads were really bad for awhile but since we walk it didn't really affect us that much. Chris, a recent convert, came out teaching with us and his car kept getting stuck so we had to go help push him out and things! It was pretty funny. Sometimes the snow affects me a little bit, but not much because we usually have a place to go warm up and things. The meals are doing a little better. Chris took us out a few times and so did our ward mission leader and there are some nice people in the ward that dropped off some dishes for us. And then this Sunday we had two people give us food for the week, and last week when we went to Walmart we got a really good deal on some of our food! I think we have enough to last us a long time now! Transfers are next week so I don't know if I'll get transferred or stay here. Looks like we will find out!
The Mulhollands are doing really great. They got sick again and the dad had to work so they couldn't come to church. Other than that, we have been teaching them a lot and they are really learning! The dad is Scott, Becky is the mom, then there is Allen, but he doesn't really sit in and is from his other marriage, and then we have Carolyn who is 16, Brook is 14, Kayla is 9, Natelee is 8, Madison is 6, Robert is 4, Brendan is 2 and Leon is 6 months. We found them from the other missionaries tracting and came in contact with them and referred them over to us. The last missionaries didn't do anything or go over and so I found their name and address on an old referral paper. We went and stopped by and we were like jackpot! Also, we had another really cool find. His name is Allen and hers is Princess (really!) and we found him on the street. He said his wife was a member and they wanted to get back into church. So we ended up going over and teaching them on Saturday night! And before we went over, their friends from Colorado called us and told us about them and how he wants to get baptized. So when we were over we set a date with him for March 26th and he is really excited about church and everything. He came with his wife who was less active. The only thing he has a problem with is the word of wisdom. Our lesson in Gospel Principles was about that and it answered a lot of his questions. Now we just need to finish teaching him. But he was commenting and participating all throughout church and it was great! :) We even were able to get members to sit with them and then to talk with them and stuff. So things are turning out really good with him!
Well some things that are pretty cool is we have been getting a lot of referrals recently and people just calling up and telling us they want to be taught and things like that, so that's really good! :) Also, a few weeks ago we meet a guy on the Rapid and talked to him and he said sure missionaries could come by so we sent them over. Just the other day we learned that he is coming to church and is getting baptized soon! He is just an awesome investigator! Hope everything is going well and everyone has a great week! Thank you all for all your prayers and sending me things. Love you and remember to read your Scriptures! :)
