This was a pretty exciting week! We had the baptism of the Mulholland girls: Brooke, Kayla and Natalee on Saturday and it was a great night! There were so many people there at the baptism we had to use the chapel and it was pretty full! They each had to be baptized 2 times. Elder Stephenson did the baptizing and then I did the confirmations on Sunday the next day! It's been so neat to see the change in their lives that they have made, especially Brooke. We have probably seen the biggest change in her. Things have just been really working out for that family! The rest of our week was actually pretty hard. We had the baptism so satan was working hard on everyone. Brooke even said "that's stupid, does he think I'm going to change my mind if I have a bad week?" She is great and the other 2, Kayla and Natalee, were like "we are so excited, this week isn't going fast enough!"
This week we only had 3 people to church: the rest of the Mulhollands, the daughter and the dad, and then Annie, who is just a girl that has been taught everything and is just waiting for her sister to get back so she can get baptized! We were teaching Curtis but he doesn't answer our phone calls anymore, so that's a big bummer. Oh and we got 9 lmps, it was a rough week. This week we have another big meeting, the leadership traning meeting on Thursday and Friday!
No, we actually weren't able to go to Kirtland this week but we have been doing good with getting there! They are also having the 175th Kirtland temple dedication which we might go to! Yes we are getting fed a lot more now, so we are doing better! The Mulhollands usually will feed us if nobody else will because they have so many kids they cook a ton of food and always have left overs! So they have us come over! Here is a picture of their baptism! On the left is Brother Mulholland's family that he invited (3 of them) then the other older boy is Eddie (someone they invited that used to live with them) and the rest is their family!
It was an interesting week here: one of our investigator's aunt died and so she couldn't meet with us, and then we had another who just kept canceling appointments so we weren't able to meet with a lot of people. We just tried to spend a lot of time with the Mulhollands and help them! Oh and we help him detail cars. (I don't know if I said that or not before but it's really fun. I'm learning all the secrets of how to get a car clean!) Well, that's about it for us other than it snowed again but now it's all melting away and there is a ton of slush in the trees and sidewalks and it's hard to walk, but everything is going well here! I hope everyone is having fun there! I better go but love you and hope you have a wonderful week! :)
Love, Elder Price
