Last week was pretty good! We had 13 lmps, so we have just been tearing things up! When we called the zone leaders to tell them our numbers, Elder Farmer was like "whoa, what is your secret of sucess?!" It was pretty funny! Things have been going really good! The days have just been flying by and it seems like time is just crazy! We did come in first for our zone or the whole Cleveland stake and most of Kirtland stake too, but I'm not sure about the rest of the mission. All the winter storms came back and it snowed 8 inches. Last night it rained all night so now almost all the snow is melted! It's pretty crazy! We should be warming up this week!
Church was good. We had 7 people come, not everyone we wanted because some couldn't get rides and others we don't know what happened. Mariah is the daughter and is 13 or 14! It's amazing to see what the spirit can do in people's lives! Like this one less active we finally got her to come to church and then we went over to meet with her and you could just see that there was a difference and she was happy and almost glowing! It's been really neat to see that change! Alan is doing really good too. He quit smoking and we are almost done teaching him all the commandments so he is just about good to go!
The other day when we were out with Chris, his car was making weird noises and he was freaking out thinking his car was falling apart. I said I thought it was his stablilizing bar because it sounded like the blazer when that was wrong. Sure enough he called after taking it to the mechanic and told me that I was right! haha. It made me laugh that I actually knew something about a broken car!
How often do we go to the misison home? Not a whole lot. I think I've only been there about 4 times my whole mission. But the mission office we go to about one a week maybe more. This weekend we went to Kirtland and had a lot of opposition trying to get there. The dad ended up working at the last min and got a new account which has really helped them out (he has a detailing business). So we had to get another ride, which we did. Then at the last min that ride cancelled so we called a ton of people and finally, the last person, as always is, said yes he could go so we were able to go! The Mullhollands had a lot of fun and enjoyed it a lot! And then afterwards we had a big snowball fight in the parking lot! What's funny is that Sister Maughan asked me if this is the family of 11. I asked her how she knew about them and she said that the mission president told her about them. So it seems as if President Sorensen is really excited about this family as well! :) We all are!
This week for our zone conference on Friday we woke up to a huge snow storm! (this is were the 8 inches came from) And we got there and we got stuck as we stopped to open the gate. And then the mission van (a big 10 passanger van) got stuck behind us and then as we were getting him unstuck, a lot of other people got stuck on the hill waiting for us! It was really funny. There were about 10 of us missionaries running up and down the hill pushing the cars up and slipping down and stuff, it was really fun! But pretty cold. We were able to get everyone up the hill! The sisters were the funniest. Elder Rassmussen had to drive their car up for them because they couldn't do it! It was a pretty fun day! Well I need to get going, but I hope everything is going well for everyone! Love ya lots and hope you have a great week! :)
Love, Elder Price
