Dear family!
It has been snowing everyday here. It's still really fun with all the snow but it does make it hard because we have to walk everywhere! My companion makes me go first, because I have boots which work really good by the way, and make big footprints in the snow and then he follows after me! It's kinda difficult though because no one wants to really talk to us and there isn't a lot going on. But on Sunday we had to sit with this kid from primary who is 9. We took him to another room because he is a really disruptive kid. It was me and Elder Lythgoe teaching him and he even slapped me like 4 times!! What a little kid! It was still fun and then we had to go sit with him in primary and we might be doing that every week now! So this week we got one person (Jerry) to church which was cool because we were trying really hard to get him to come to church. When church started, he wasn't there and then finally after it had already started he walked in with his family! :) It's so neat to see that even though we thought that we didn't make it and we had 0 people to church the Lord provides a way and he walks in! It was really neat! I'm getting along really well with my companion. The ward is really good. We have a dinner every night and there is about 200 active members. We live in Cuyahoga Falls and the ward is called the Tallmage Ward. The other missionaries live in Tallmage and are assigned to that area but they were staying at our apartment because we live really close to the church and they had a baptism that Saturday and the MP said that they could stay over because it would save them a lot of miles and in case the snow storm kept going then we could walk there so that's why they were there. Yes, we are in a pretty big city now. I was walking down the street the other day really close to our apartment and there is like every store there and it was like being in Mesa! One other cool thing that happened was that we were walking out of Target and this guy was like "hello" and we were like "hey" and he asked us if there was a ward really close. He had just moved here from Idaho and was LDS and didn't know where the church was. And so he was asking us! It was neat because he happened to be in the same place as a pair of missionaries. Who would have thought? See, the Lord is doing the work we are just helping out! Well I better be off; not a lot is going on here but oh we did make a Valentine's dinner for the Tallmage elders' investigators. We made them omelets and crepes. I think it was really good and they liked it! They told us we need to do it again, so I think we are good at making breakfast! But only in our companionships! :) Well I'll talk to you next week. Love and miss you guys!:)
