Dear Family,
I'm glad you got both my letters, that's good! Well, the east side is worse than the west side so we are pretty good! But we still don't carry our cameras with us! My companion is teaching me Hmong so if we have any robbers or anything we can talk to each other in Hmong and know what to do! :) Haha, it's pretty funny! There isn't actually as many gun shots as you would think, but there is a lot of sirens! There is a lot of low level income housing and such and a lot of people that don't have jobs and stuff. I heard there are some bad neighborhoods but nothing bad has happened yet, so that's good! Ya, our apartment is warm! We will be walking a lot. There has been a bunch of snow; it's been snowing all day and there is about 3 or 4 inches and it's been really windy. There is a lot of snow drifts and stuff too! My companion is Elder Vang. He is from California and he speaks Hmong. He is from Laos (it's south east Asia between Thailand and Vietnam!) He has only been in this area for about 5 months or so!
So this week was pretty good. We had zone conference at the Kirtland Temple and we were even able to partake of sacrament in the temple as well which was a really neat experience! We even had a testimony meeting afterwards. We were able to sing the Spirit of God! The whole thing was just really good and really spiritual! That was the highlight of our week! We had a school bus driver stop us on the road and ask us for literature! It was really funny! We had our ward party on Friday night but they didn't have very much food! There has been a lot of snow. Sunday and Saturday it rained and melted everything and today and last night it was been snowing and everything is back to how it was! Crazy weather! The ward is pretty good. There is a lot of young couples and a lot of kids so sacrament meeting is kinda noisy, but it's still fun! Tell everyone I said "hi"! We are emailing at the mission office because all the libraries are closed because of all the snow! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas season! Love you lots! :)
Love, Elder Price
