Hey family,

How's everything going? This week was pretty good. We didn't have any snow. Actually, its all been melting and it's supposed to be like in the 50's this week! So it will probably be all gone soon! Tell Grandma not to worry, the 10 dollars was good enough. It helped out a lot! Jerry is doing really good. He just got back from Utah the other day and we went over and helped him move all the stuff into his house. He and his wife want to go to Kirtland so we should have a good time there. Me and Elder Lythgoe went on exchanges and that night we walked like almost an hour to go stop by this less-active member. We were walking up looking at all the numbers trying to find it and we were like "just our luck he won't even be here". And what do you know, the last house was all dark and it was his, so we turned around and walked all the way back to our apartment! We made some smores then went to bed! On Wednesday, Ii committed this girl Valerie to read the Book of Mormon everyday and she would do better at school(she isn't a member). She said she would. On Sunday I asked how it went and she said that she got home and realized she didn't have a Book of Mormon so I gave her one. I'll have to follow up later. But it was just something that was a simple, "hey try this out". Anyone can do something like that. Her friend invited her to church and mutual. See, anyone can be a part of missionary work! I think that's about all I have though because we had a really slow week. We did go teach a cottage meeting thing, it's where members invite their non-member friends over for refreshments and the missionaries teach a lesson. But no non-members came. Well maybe this week will be better! Love you lots and hope everything goes well for you guys this week!
