Hey, happy 4th of July! We went to two parties in our branch and watched some really good fireworks! Another thing I think is really cool about the story of Abinidi is it shows the affect that one man's testimony can affect so many. He shared it with all the priests and Alma felt something different; he felt the spirit and was converted and then later he converted 450 souls and the largest book in the Book of Mormon is his! So never underestimate the power of a simple testimony! This week we had a super busy week! We have a new branch mission leader who is doing awesome and I think that we will get a lot done with him! Also we are looking for a new apartment! Its really fun actually. Well, kinda, but there isn't alot of nice places. Our president wants us to get a new one because our apartment is not in such a good enviroment. We have neighbors that smoke a lot and our zone and district leader says it's so old it's kinda depressing. So we are out looking for a new one! Also, we went on exchanges with our zone leaders and I talked to him a lot about what was going on and so we are working on fixing it. When we went out and worked we found 3 new people who wanted to hear more and we did it in like maybe 2 hours. At the end he was like hey, "I guess this area isn't that bad after all?" And I told him see what happens if you just work! And then we had Cecelia and her whole family come to church on Sunday! :) It was awesome! The dad told us later that he felt something different there and doesn't quite know what it was but wants to come back until he can figure out what it is! I was like "yup that's the spirit. Keep coming back and you will be a member soon! I didn't actually say that, but I thought it! And we set another date with Cecelia for July 24, so super soon! We asked her what her goals are and she told us that she wants to learn more about the church and then be a member go to BYU and then go on a mission! We were pretty excited! Her brother from Georgia came down to visit and really helped us out a lot! It was really nice! We made a ton of progress with them! That's a lot of what happened this week! So they are learning a lot more and want to learn more and will be coming out to church again! We are going to have a super big busy week this week as well and we have exchanges again this week! It all started Saturday night when they called and wanted to go to church and then Sunday at church, then Monday night when we met with them!
