November 2

Dear Family,
Halloween night we stayed in all night because we weren't allowed to go out and do anything because it's too dangerous or something like that. But a family at church gave us a big bag of candy. That was really nice of them! They like taking care of us! We haven't had a lot of cold yet; it was super warm like 60 degrees last week. This week it should be getting colder (maybe 40's) but we will just wait and find out. It's been kinda rainy and windy. Yes, we normally get the Ensign each month but not until the month is almost over. The Shaffers are well, they talked stuff out and he is reading the scriptures more. We are excited about that and he seems a little more happy! Which is great because that's what the gospel can do for you! Raffiale is doing good; he is still reading and just looks so much more happy but doesn't know if the church is true yet. We are working on that. We also have been getting a lot of less-actives back to church so we are proud of that! We also have this family, the Sherdians, and we are starting to teach them. So maybe next week we will find out more about them. We already know they make super good cookies! We also have this part member family which we had dinner with last night which was great. I did get cussed out by a 3 year old, it was hillarious but not good! He was also running around with no underwear on and ran up to the table and grabbed a paper towel and wiped his bottom while we were eating dinner! Pretty disturbing, but yet super funny! They are a great family - I think they are going to do good. The wife told her husband that she wants to be sealed to him and her kids. She wants him to learn about the gospel but do it because he wants to. I think he might be coming around, hopefully! Oh, and another funny story is that we got yelled at and called little devils at this amish lady's house. She told us to get off her property and so we turn around and I was like, "have a nice day!" She cussed me out and called me "fishpoop" and told me to never come back. This week was a busy week. We had zone conference which lasted all day. We got our new car! It's a 2010 Chevy Malibu! We call it our spaceship because it has so many cool features and cool things like that. We had interviews that went well too. We are trying to find more people to teach! That's pretty much my week. Hope you guys are doing good! Love ya and miss you tons! Tell everyone I said hi back!
Love, Elder Price

P.S. My recent convert Bob hooked up with a less active member at Kirtland during a single adult conference!
P.P.S. President Monson was at Kirtland a few weeks ago as well! He just did a tour so not a lot of people got to see him, only if they were there that day! And also my trainer is now an assistant to the president! In 3 transfers he went from district leader to zone leader to assistant! Boy, do I have big shoes to fill!
